The quintas

Two estates, one family.

We're not a company with suppliers. We're a family running two places in the Douro. It's where the lunches happen, where the year's work on the vines happens, and where most of us still sleep.

The main house

Quinta da Bela

The main stage. In Cambres, Lamego. This is where lunch happens, where we open the Vintage with a hot iron, and where you spend most of your day with us.

Open family kitchen, long table, food without theatre, wine within reach. Nothing is staged for tourists — it's the table you'd sit at if you were family.

The second house

Quinta de Penajóia · Alma Soalheira

The second estate, in Penajóia, run by Bernardo. Smaller, focused on the year's work on the vines.

It's where the harvest happens in September and October — grapes, baskets, hands. September is when it's really worth coming.

Every experience runs through one of the two quintas. Pick the one that fits, we handle the rest.
