What defines us
01
Three generations of the family in this company. Your guides are our brothers, cousins, in-laws. Nobody is hired off a CV.
02
The quintas are ours. The grapes are ours. Lunch comes out of our kitchen. Nothing is staged for tourists.
03
Vintage Port opened with a hot iron — nobody else does this in front of guests. Every day, live.
04
WSET Levels 1, 2 and 3 sommeliers on the team. We know what we're talking about when we hand you a glass.
Experiences
Our classic small-group day: 11 tastings, two family wineries, the Vintage opening, and a private boat on the Douro.
The Douro on your terms — Mercedes S-Class or convertible E-Class, hotel pickup, and the family quinta to ourselves.
Two wine regions, two rivers, 11 tastings, chef's lunch, and fire on the Vintage. Our most complete day, in a group.
The moment
This is how Port was served before the corkscrew existed. Two hundred years. There's a reason the iron stays hot, and a reason nobody else does this in front of their guests.
You'll understand when you see it.
The family
In 2008, Manuel — software engineer — started renting a room of our family home on Airbnb. Not a business plan. A way to keep the lights on.
In 2011 it became a company. Today we are father, mother, three sons, cousins, and friends who know too much about wine.
You don't come to visit a quinta. You come to meet us.
Sister project
A Douro wine club, shipping monthly worldwide. Built around the new white quinta we're putting together. Members get a private tasting when they pass through the Douro — and take a photo with the vine they adopted.
What guests say
“Excellent program, led by guide Tiago — very capable. Delicious lunch and plenty of tastings along the winery visits. Comfortable and safe transport with Jota driving. We left Porto in the morning and by the time we were back at night we already missed it.”
“Simply fantastic. It starts with guide George — Manuel's cousin. Such characters. Katia, George, Manuel, João, Tiago and Diogo (on the boat), all of them. I'd come back tomorrow if I could, and bring the rest of the family.”
Send us a message. We answer in English, in under two hours. It's just us on the other end.
