Booking and payment
Can I cancel a booking? +
Yes — free cancellation up to 48h before. Between 48h and 24h: 50%. Less than 24h: non-refundable. Heavy rain? We reschedule at no cost.
What cards do you accept? +
Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, MB Way. Payment is processed securely through FareHarbor.
Do I have to pay in full at booking? +
Yes — the booking is confirmed with full payment. For premium private tours (Mercedes), we accept a 30% deposit + balance on the day, on request.
Can I book last minute? +
Usually yes, up to 24h before. For same-day, message us directly on WhatsApp — if we have availability, we'll fit you in.
The day
What time does it start and finish? +
Bus Groups and Small Groups: pickup in Porto between 8:30 and 9:00, return between 18:00 and 19:00. Mercedes premium: hotel pickup at the time you pick, usually between 9:00 and 10:00.
Is it suitable for children? +
From 12 years old, yes. Below that we don't recommend it — the day revolves heavily around wine tastings and long meals. For families with younger kids, message us — we'll put together something custom.
I have allergies / I'm vegetarian. Is that a problem? +
None. Open kitchen, quinta-grown ingredients, we adapt. Tell us when booking (Notes field) and Teresa figures something out.
What if it rains? +
We carry on. Quintas have covered interiors, lunch indoors, tastings as usual. Only the boat cruise may be rescheduled in heavy rain.
Are photos included? +
Yes — professional photos throughout the day (João, usually). You get them by email the next day.
Logistics
Where's the meeting point? +
Porto: main door of Teatro Sá da Bandeira (Rua de Sá da Bandeira). Trindade metro is 2 min away. For premium tours, hotel pickup.
What should I bring? +
Comfortable shoes (we walk on dirt), a sweater to handle the swing from warm quintas to cool boat, and a hat in summer. We bring unlimited water.
Accessibility — can I come in a wheelchair? +
Honestly, no. Some quintas have stairs, loose dirt, and terraces. If you have reduced mobility, message us beforehand — we adapt with direct pickup and alternative tours.
What's the maximum group size? +
Bus Groups: up to ~50. Small Groups: up to 8. Mercedes premium: up to 4 or 6 depending on the vehicle.
