Terms of Service

Updated: 2026-06-06

The rules for when you book an experience with us. Written to be clear.

Draft — pending review by a Portuguese lawyer before public launch. Flagged sections need legal confirmation.

1. Who operates the experiences

The experiences are operated by Animation4Ever, Lda · NIPC 515604810 · Largo Areosa nº 28, Pedroso, 4415-296 V.N. Gaia, the travel agency of the aDayinDouro group.

2. Bookings and prices

Bookings are made through FareHarbor. The price that applies is the one shown at the time of booking. A booking is confirmed only once FareHarbor confirms it.

3. Payment

Payment is processed securely by FareHarbor. We do not store your card details.

4. Cancellations and refunds

  • Free cancellation up to 48h before the experience.
  • Between 48h and 24h before: 50% of the price.
  • Less than 24h before: non-refundable.
  • If heavy rain or conditions prevent the experience, we reschedule at no cost.

[LEGAL REVIEW NEEDED — confirm the cancellation policy and the right of withdrawal (distance selling) for dated tourism services.]

5. Your responsibilities

  • Arrive on time at the agreed meeting point.
  • Experiences include wine tastings — alcohol is for guests aged 18 and over only.
  • Minimum age to take part: 12.
  • Tell us about mobility or health needs before booking — some quintas have stairs and uneven ground.

6. Changes and safety

For safety or weather reasons we may adjust the itinerary, swap stops, or reschedule. We give notice whenever possible.

7. Liability

We run the experiences with care, but we are not liable for loss arising from breach of these terms or from factors beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

[LEGAL REVIEW NEEDED — liability caps, tourism-activity insurance and alcohol-consumption clauses to be validated.]

8. Intellectual property

The content of this site (text, images, brand) belongs to aDayinDouro and may not be reused without permission.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts in Portugal.

[LEGAL REVIEW NEEDED — confirm jurisdiction and reference to consumer alternative dispute resolution (ADR).]
