The day

Vinho Verde + Douro in one day.

The bigger version of our classic day — bus, open group, more energy. We leave Porto at 8:30 in the morning, back close to seven in the evening.

Morning in Vinho Verde: the first quinta opens just for us, tasting of alvarinhos and loureiros. Then we climb up to the Douro through the terraces.

Farm-to-table lunch at our quinta. Vintage opened with the iron in front of everyone. Reds tasting, olive oil tasting.

Private cruise on the Douro before heading back. Photos of the day land in your inbox.

About this day

What guests have said.

★★★★★
GetYourGuide
Excellent program, led by guide Tiago — very capable. Delicious lunch and plenty of tastings along the winery visits. Comfortable and safe transport with Jota driving. We left Porto in the morning and by the time we were back at night we already missed it.

GetYourGuide
Simply fantastic. It starts with guide George — Manuel's cousin. Such characters. Katia, George, Manuel, João, Tiago and Diogo (on the boat), all of them. I'd come back tomorrow if I could, and bring the rest of the family.

Questions

Before you book.

How big is the group? +
Up to about 50 people. We do everything together — same lunch, same Vintage opening, same boat cruise — just at a larger scale. If you prefer a smaller group, check the Small Groups tour.
Is the bus comfortable? +
Yes — modern, air-conditioned, big windows. Pickup at Teatro Sá da Bandeira in central Porto.
Is lunch included? What if I'm vegetarian? +
Yes — farm-to-table lunch at our quinta, starter / main / dessert, wines paired. Vegetarian and gluten-free options available — let us know when booking.
Is it suitable for children? +
From 12 years old. Below that we don't recommend it — the day revolves heavily around tastings and long meals.
Can I cancel? +
Free cancellation up to 48h before. Between 48h and 24h: 50%. Less than 24h: non-refundable. Heavy rain? We reschedule at no cost.
