The day

Brunch, boat, and Douro sunset.

The afternoon version of our classic day — no need to get up early. We leave Porto around brunch time.

Farm-to-table brunch at the quinta (eggs, seasonal fruit, house cheeses, fresh wines). Afternoon tastings.

Vintage Port opened with the iron. Private cruise on the Douro at golden hour — the river with the light everyone photographs.

Back in Porto after sunset. Full day, no morning stress.

About this day

What guests have said.

★★★★★
GetYourGuide
Excellent program, led by guide Tiago — very capable. Delicious lunch and plenty of tastings along the winery visits. Comfortable and safe transport with Jota driving. We left Porto in the morning and by the time we were back at night we already missed it.

GetYourGuide
Simply fantastic. It starts with guide George — Manuel's cousin. Such characters. Katia, George, Manuel, João, Tiago and Diogo (on the boat), all of them. I'd come back tomorrow if I could, and bring the rest of the family.

Questions

Before you book.

What time is sunset? +
Depends on the season — 6pm in winter, 9pm midsummer. We time the cruise so we're on the river during golden hour, whatever the season.
Is brunch enough food for the day? +
It is — eggs, fresh cheeses, fruit, breads, and the same chef who handles our lunch tours. You'll leave full, with tastings spread through the afternoon to keep you going.
Is lunch included? What if I'm vegetarian? +
Yes — farm-to-table lunch at our quinta, starter / main / dessert, wines paired. Vegetarian and gluten-free options available — let us know when booking.
Is it suitable for children? +
From 12 years old. Below that we don't recommend it — the day revolves heavily around tastings and long meals.
Can I cancel? +
Free cancellation up to 48h before. Between 48h and 24h: 50%. Less than 24h: non-refundable. Heavy rain? We reschedule at no cost.
